Dr. Justin Clardy is from Los Angeles, CA and is a professor of Philosophy at Stanford University. His research focuses on normative questions that arise in the context of personal relationships and political theories. Within this context he has published on the nature of love, obligations to current and past partners, monogamy & non-monogamy, and polyamory.

 

Personally, Dr. Clardy has openly identified as polyamorous 7 years and is a Black polyamorous researcher, published author, activist, educator, speaker, and father. He enjoys philosophical conversations and is passionate about social justice concerns that centralize mass incarceration and poverty. In addition to presenting a workshop at PolyDallas Millennium 2020, he will also be speaking at the 2nd Annual Black Poly Pride in Washington D.C..
